Zero Risk: Enter the IT market of Uzbekistan with minimal costs

The Zero Risk Program is a new initiative developed by IT Park with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The goal of the program is to improve the business climate in the country, attract foreign investment and stimulate export activities in the field of IT and BPO outsourcing.

Participation in the Zero Risk program enables companies to enter the IT sector of Uzbekistan with minimal risks and gain access to valuable resources and opportunities of our country.

To participate in the Zero Risk program, a company must fulfill several conditions:

• Must be a resident of IT Park;
• Have a contract confirming the export orientation of the company in the amount of at least 500,000 US dollars per year or provide information on the annual turnover of the parent company, not less than 50 million US dollars;
• The company must have a physical address in any of the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the exception of the city of Tashkent;
• Have a staff of at least 50 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The program provides companies with a number of privileges to support and reduce initial risks.

Advantages of Zero Risk:

• A resident company receives an office space free of charge for a period of up to 12 months.
• In order to reduce initial costs, at the expense of IT Park, the resident company is assisted in equipping the office with equipment and furniture with a 15-month grace period of payments.
• IT Park guarantees partial reimbursement of expenses associated with hiring employees who are citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For each hired employee, the company receives a monetary compensation of $500;
• From the IT Park budget, up to 15% of the costs associated with the payment of wages to employees from Uzbekistan are reimbursed.
• At the expense of the IT Park budget, reimbursement of up to 50% of the costs spent on calling and maintaining a trainer by a resident company is organized for the purpose of preliminary training of employees.
