Applications for the Central Asian FoundHer Competition is open

Innovative platform Plug and Play Uzbekistan accepts applications for the FoundHer competition for womenʼs startups.

FoundHer is a support program for start-ups where they will have access to a network of investors, mentors and Plug and Play experts, as well as access to seminars conducted by high-level professionals from all over Europe, various events and venture financing.

The program is implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Program for the Development of Entrepreneurship and the Business Environment in Central Asia. The founding partner of the Plug and Play Uzbekistan office is IT Park Uzbekistan and Aloqabank.

FoundHER will be held in a hybrid format and will include both online and offline events. Women's startups from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan can apply for participation, however, all offline events will be held in Tashkent. The prerequisite is that there must be at least one woman among the founders of a startup.

The competition includes the following stages:

• teams fill out an online form in which they describe their project;
• representatives of Plug and Play Uzbekistan, jointly with program partners, evaluate applications and select 20 startups;
• selected teams pass a 3-month acceleration program, where they will be able to receive mentoring support, gain access to seminars from leading experts in various sectors, communicate with international professionals;
• Demo Day, where participants will present their final projects and will be able to access the investor network.

The program will last 6 months, participation is free.
