On September 23, the opening ceremony of two new BPO Ceters and a BPO-school was held in Chirchik city, Tashkent region.  The establishments were opened with the support of I T Park, the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the United Nations Development Programme.

The event was attended by the Minister of ICT Sherzod Shermatov, Director of IT Park Uzbekistan Farhod Ibragimov, Khokim of Chirchik Davron Khidoyatov and others.

The new BPO-school will teach IT-English to young people and train highly qualified personnel in the field of international logistics.

The new BPO Centers will provide foreign partners with remote call center services and provide support to foreign logistics companies.

At the initial stage, the two companies created 40 new jobs.  In the future, the staff will increase.

Recall that IT Park helps BPO-companies with registration, search and equipment of the office and recruitment.  In addition, IT Park provides preferential rent for the first six months, and also, if necessary, helps in communication with government agencies.

Due to this, the export of IT-services is increasing every year.  For comparison: the number of BPO-companies at the end of 2021 was 45, in 2022 – 121. The volume of exports at the end of the 2nd quarter of 2022 amounted to $53.2 million, of which $33.1 million accounted for the export of services of BPO-companies.
