Opening of a new incubation center at the Namangan Engineering Construction Institute

On November 27, on the initiative of IT Park, with the support of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, a new incubation center was opened at the Namangan Engineering Construction Institute with the purpose of holding hackathons, ideathons, and other start-up competitions on a regular basis, as well as supporting students’ innovative projects.

The main participants in the opening ceremony were representatives of the regional department of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications in the Namangan region, heads of the IT Park branch, and the Namangan Engineering Construction Institute.

Thanks to programs implemented in incubation centers at universities, authors of promising projects receive comprehensive support from mentors in the person of leading IT specialists, gain experience and learn from the mistakes of other aspiring entrepreneurs.

During the event, a presentation on the activities of IT Park, IT Centers, incubation centers, as well as educational projects was held for the audience.

The incubation center is equipped with computers, wireless internet and uninterruptible power supply for more efficient mastering of the acquired knowledge.  Students will also be able to go to the library and attend educational lectures in the conference room at the incubation center, which has a capacity of 60 people.

It should be noted that today there are 24 incubation centers at higher educational institutions throughout the republic.  This allows you to develop a startup ecosystem, support young startup leaders and raise awareness of ongoing IT events among students.
