Special course from IT Park and Coursera to prepare for university admission

IT Park is opening a preparatory special course “Course in Information Technology" (Foundation) on the Coursera platform, which will start in February this year.

The educational program includes the best courses on programming, mathematics, academic English, and project management from leading international companies and universities such as Google, Intel, IBM, Yale, and Johns Hopkins University.  Upon completion of the courses, students will be awarded certificates from IT Park and Coursera.

What is included in the special course program?

This program aims to provide high-quality and affordable IT education to the wider population of the country.  This project was implemented on the initiative of IT Park with the support of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with Coursera and includes the following courses:

—   Introduction to Computer Programming;

—   Computer Science;

—   Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python);

—   Using Python to Access Web Data

—   Using Databases with Python;

—   Academic English.

In addition to this, students will study the basics of business and entrepreneurship, various programming languages ​​to better understand which direction of information technology suits them best.

The duration of the program is 6 months.  The special course is divided into two stages, each for 12 weeks.  The course is conducted online, only academic English lessons will be held in regional IT-Centers.

The benefits of the course are that:

 - each student has a personal mentor who will help him/her throughout the course;

 - as part of the course, weekly online lectures with a teacher will be held;
 
 - students can get an answer to any question 24/7.  Feedback will always be supported, students will be constantly helped and supported;

 - if the student does not have the opportunity to take courses from home, then you can come to any IT-Center and study there for free.

After completing this program, students will have the opportunity to study IT and master the necessary skills under the guidance of leading experts from the best IT companies and universities in the world, since the partnership with Coursera allows IT Park to provide the best educational programs from more than 250 leading international companies and universities, such as University of London, Google, University of Michigan, etc.

What do you need to enroll in a course?

The training will take place entirely in English, and therefore a minimum level of English proficiency is required - Elementary.

The duration of the special course is 6 months, and the monthly cost constitutes 1,100,000 soums.

Payment can be made at a time or in two stages: at the beginning of training and after the end of the first stage of the special course.
