The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan has visited IT Park!

From 24 to 25 November 2021, a number of meetings were held between the management of IT Park and the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.  The delegation also included Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Dinar Shakirov, Deputy Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Robert Galliulin, representatives of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone, and others.

First Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Digital Economy and Electronic Government Oleg Pekos, Director of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov, Deputy Director of IT Park for International Development Bohodir Ayupov, as well as Deputy Director of IT Park for Regional development Abdulahad Kuchkarov also attended the meeting.

The guests from the Republic of Tatarstan were informed about the activities of IT Park, the development of a startup ecosystem, the current state of the information technology market, the Information Technology Development Fund of Uzbekistan, as well as infrastructure and educational projects.  The delegation showed interest in borrowing the experience of forming this fund in the Republic of Tatarstan.

On November 26, at the IT Park branch in Tashkent, the delegation also held a meeting with the heads and leading experts of IT Park resident companies, such as DataSite Technologies, KashApp, Green White Solutions, Genesis Innovation, RealSoft, ExactIT and other ones.

After talking with the heads of IT Park resident companies, the guests of the event showed interest in close cooperation and considered the possibility of opening their representative offices in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan to further enter the local market.  This will create additional jobs for the talented youth of Uzbekistan, where they can gain experience, learn from the leading IT specialists of Tatarstan.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation had an excursion around the construction site of the IT Park complex, during which the delegation was familiarized with the project of the future IT complex.  Additionally, following the meeting, the parties showed interest in further collaboration.
