The hackathon «Computer Vision AI Challenge» is being held in Tashkent

On June 24-26, Tashkent will be hosting Computer Vision AI Challenge hackathon. The tournament venue: Tashkent University of Information Technologies.

Prior to the tournament, initiators held an opening ceremony with the participation of UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Uzbekistan Doina Munteanu, First Deputy Minister of ICT Oleg Pekos, IT Park Chief Innovation officer Jakhongir Radjabov, and TUIT Rector Bakhtiyor Makhkamov.

Computer vision is a field of artificial intelligence (AI) that enables computers and systems to derive meaningful information from digital images, videos and other visual inputs and take actions or make recommendations based on that information.

Within 3 days, IT experts will assist participants in creating their own digital product based on computer vision technologies. The maximum number of participants in one team should not exceed 3 people.

290 applicants across all regions of Uzbekistan registered for the hackathon (with notable increase of female applicants willing to take part).

By the end of the contest participants will receive valuable prizes.
