The Republican stage of the e-sports competitions "Olympiad of Five Initiatives" took place

On June 24–25, the republican stage of eSports competitions took place as part of the Olympiad of Five Initiatives.

The competition was held at the Cyberium cybersport-playground in Tashkent in several stages. Participants from all over the republic competed and won at the mahalla-sector-district (city)-region level in such disciplines as CS: GO, DOTA2 (team game) and FIFA22 and PES22 (individual).

This time more than 200 people took part in the competition. It is noted that eSports has been gaining momentum in popularity in recent years.  If earlier the attitude towards computer games was ambiguous, even rather negative, then recently the world of computer games and the attitude towards them has undergone significant changes.  Now a whole area called e-sports is already successfully developing.

Uzbekistan decided to direct the interests of youth in the right direction.  Thus, on the basis of the principle “Leisure of youth – working time of the leader”, it is planned that youth leaders systematically hold the “Olympiad of five initiatives” twice a year.

As part of the Five Initiatives Olympiad, youth competitions are organized in such sports as mini-football, football, volleyball, athletics, streetball, chess and checkers, badminton, table tennis, cyberfootball, team and individual strategic games, competitions, etc. 

The winners of the competition were: 42 participants who showed the best results. The prize fund amounted to more than 500.000.000 million soums. In addition, vouchers, certificates and gifts were presented by the Ministry of ICT and IT Park.

On PES22:

  1. Raimov Abdulaziz (Navoi region)

  2. Abdunazarov Murodjon (Syrdarya region)

  3. Shodiev Shamshod (Kashkadarya region)

On FIFA22:

  1. Azizov Khodjiakbar (Andijan region)

  2. Bazarbaev Salamat (Republic of Karakalpakstan)

  3. Bahronov Lochinbek (Jizzakh region)
