On November 14, the award ceremony for the winners of the second Central Asian hackathon Tumaris.Hack was held at Huawei office.
An online hackathon for girls from Central Asian countries Tumaris.Hack was held from 4 to 6 November. For three days, with the support of mentors, the participants worked on solving problems and creating prototype applications for further presentation to the jury.
It should be noted that a total of 469 participants registered for participation. Uzbekistan became the leader among the countries, from where 207 applications were received. 159 applications were from Kazakhstan, 68 – from Kyrgyzstan, 32 – from Tajikistan and 3 applications from Turkmenistan.
21 out of 53 teams that were formed on the first day presented their projects at Demo Day. The teams competed in three areas: E-commerce, FinTech and DeepTech.

The winners of the hackathon received valuable gifts from Beeline, TBC Bank and Huawei. In addition, the winners of the hackathon got the opportunity to continue the development of the created projects as part of the hackathon on the Tumaris.Tech acceleration program on a non-competitive basis.
Recall that IT Park, with the support of the USAID Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development Project, Beeline Uzbekistan Digital Operator, TBC Bank, Huawei, as well as the Wonder Women community, announced the acceptance of applications for the second wave of the Central Asian Incubation and Acceleration Programs project Tumaris.Tech.
Incubation and acceleration programs will start on December 12, they are designed for 2.5 months and will be held online in Russian. The sessions are suitable for those women entrepreneurs who are planning to implement projects with a technological component.
